Default help me find year of this ecu part number

if someone can send me a link to ecu info I am trying to find out what year model etc used this ecu

mainly if its a match to a 83 2.5 engine

That should be the DME for a later 944 model, after 2/85. The early DME has a pretty thick case on it. The late DME is just sheetmetal.

That would be an 88 944 dme, if you want to run it you would need the AFM from a late car as well IIRC.

I am trying to work out a problem I am having with the car losing power and going lean when the WOT tb switch is engaged. wideband goes 16. I am wondering if the swap the prevous owner did has the wrong mix and match in regards to engine to ecu to sensors etc.

the motor is a 83 for sure so you guys now say 88 ecu.
so I question if I have the right MAF/ DME CTS etc.

as long as the DME/AFM are the right pairing (early/early or late/late) the car should run fine, assuming everything else is in order. an early motor does not care if it has a late dme as long as it has a late AFM as well, and vice versa.

understood i need to now find out what part number the maf should be to match the ecu in it

cool thats the one i have. now i need to find out what the cars problem is. maybe I will get a new cts to start

It sure sounds like the TPS is faulty. I was having WOT problems with lack of power, and I replace it and now it goes like it should.l
