I have been fighting this problem since I bought the car, I thought I was the only one! I tried double sided tape and it wouldn't work, I am going to try some of these tricks tomorrow first thing.

Also, just out of curiosity, does anyone else have really slow power windows? Mine take about 15-20 seconds to close. It doesn't really bother me, I normally have them opened since I have no A/C I am just curious.

Mine are not particularly fast either. Certainly not like a modern car. I just live with it. I have no idea what "normal" is for these cars.

Yea, I asked my father about it (he has owned every sports car known to man including dozens of Porsches in his life) he said, its a 24 year old car, what do you expect? So I am assuming it is normal, like I said I always have them down anyway.

Lubing the rollers and tracks helps. May not really speed it up that much, but will be smoother and not stress the motor so much.

Well once a window motor breaks, i'm switching to manual windows. I want too now but I can't justify spending the money when my windows work fine (knocks on wood)
