Default Is my clutch worn?

I was under my car today and looked at that little inspection hole for measuring the clutch wear and you can barely see that piston thing. the distance between the housing and that metal piston seems to be much bigger than 18 mm i'm going to measure it tomorrow.

i had my clutch replaced 2 years ago with a sachs kit. my old clutch was half worn. I replaced it cus I had to have the torque tube replaced.

the car drives and shifts find and the clutch is not slipping or anything.

is it possible that the distance between teh housing and the piston in the inspection window could be caused by the adjustment of the clutch pedal or something else?
