I've adjusted the price. This car can be driven home with confidence..

I'm curious what prospective buyers' reaction to the mileage is? Maybe you shouldn't put it in the ad, let them call to find out, then you can soft-pedal it? Dealers around here do that.

I am actually in the market for a 944 to use as a DE/AX car, so I read your whole ad and I think you have a very nice car. I'd hate to gut and thrash that car. Whoever gets it will have a solid 944. GLWS!

I did try the other approach with no mileage in the ad but it's the first question they ask when they contact me. Then you get a quick 'oh!' followed by a thank you, bye. This way it's out there and if it won't sell for close to asking price I'll just drive it some more.

If I hadn't just bought my 89 I'd fly out and bring it home. I eventually got hooked on the early interior and it sounds like you have really maintained it.

Nice car, GLWS honestly with these cars and their age I wouldn't focus on the mileage, 20 years on a low mileage car can be rough due to old gaskets not use to seeing temps and such... You have a very nice maintained 944 with lots of new and rebuilt parts there's no reason it shouldn't sell for a good price.

I'm not in any rush. I'll try a different approach in another week or so. I suppose I could try Fleabay but there doesn't seem to be much bidding activity on the higher mileage ones.

That's because people bidding know nothing about the cars. I would buy this car if I didn't have one already. Well maintained, decent shape. Did you put the rear diffuser on this car?

True enough. Yes I did put the diffuser on.

I sold it for $2,900 today. A fair price I think; considering most people won't even come and look at a car with 250K miles. I have almost a whole parts car worth of parts from an 83 if anyone is interested. The interior was bad so not much from in there. I also have a set of standard cookie cutters too.
