Heated sport seats, nice... but several aftermarket adds that while cool in their time, are WAY outdated (cell phone, K40 Radar detector, UnGO alarm system)..

Over all looks clean, but I would be concerned about maintenance history, and electrical system tampering when all teh aftermarket stuff was installed.. they list sport suspension in the listing.. I wonder if they are talking about the stock 89 suspension, if so...

John agreed about the outdated early 90s tech, that would go. As I understand it M030 became standard equipment and not an option in 89. Am I correct in that? I am still waiting to hear back about the service history.

Yes 88S and 89 cars had the M030 suspension and larger brakes...

The 88 I am looking at down in Saluda NC just had a PPI done and only had the following as issues to be addressed:
Frame around hatch glass needs to be re-attached
Small spot on hood where clear coat has come off
Replace alternator belt=owner having that done now
Cam seal has just started to weep=owner having seal replaced now

Outside of those issues it was given a clean bill of health. I hope to go see it this weekend. Then the 89 up in CT popped up.

Clean surfaces well and use ultra violet glass glue. It will never separate again.
