Default Building a 924 Carrera GT/GTS replica with 944S2 drivetrain

Hello guys,

I am starting the built of a 924 Carrera GT (S) replica
The car will be used for "fast road" local trackdays use.
The objective is to build the body to 924 GTS look by installing the GTS front bumper and lexan lights as well as all the other CGT bits (front wings, scoop, rear arch extensions rear CGT bumper)

My 924 has a 2,5 8v engine, gbox suspension etc at the moment
The car has stripped interior, and a bolted rollcage with 2 race seats (well, only one Cobra monaco installed at the moment).
Suspension is Koni yellows all around with thin 944 antiroll / sway bars.

I have a complete 944S2 as a donor car and my plans are to install ALL the mechanics (engine, loom, gbox, suspension, hubs brakes etc)

Here is a picture of the car as is right now :

They're up, but turned off, in all the pictures. Thought you might have had a relay or motor failure.

Are you using the S2 wheels on your GTS replica? Love those wheels.

S2 wheels would not look correct on a GTS replica....it's gotta have Fuchs!

If you use the '86 early offset aluminium arms you can use the Fuchs.
Did you get that S2 on ebay UK ?

If you have big rear fender flares like a 924 CGT then you can use whatever wheels you want.

I cant tell you how many times I put early offset wheels on later cars and they work anyway.
