No, linen is actualy defined as a cloth made from Flax yarn, which I don't think the seats are made of? But I could be wrong on that. So linen is NOT the color, it IS the material used.... Let's make this simple for everyone....

Theses are cloth/script seats and are black in color

Just so everyone knows I was NOT trying to be rude at all, I was just informing....

I am Thinking about picking them up this weekend, if I do I will take better pics and post them.

Would there be any interest in the current interior? The seats are black leather liters with script centers, the carpets are worn but could be cleaned up well, the dash has some small cracks but nothing huge....

Porsche called one of their interior colors "linen", so when "linen" is used in this context we are talking color.

Are the seats in good condition? are they manual? Looking for either cashmere or black, manual, vinyl or leather, and standard or preferably sport seats!

Well I apologize for using it in the wrong context. I assumed that they where called linen because they aren't normal cloth nor are they leather.

Maybe if you said seats with the Porsche logo stamped on them. I have a set of brown ones on the 86, the only ones I have ever seem like them.

Like I said, I miss understood the names of the fabrics. I saw post of people talking about "linen" seats and I remember seeing the script fabric.... Ehh, anyway, they are black scripts and I hope it looks as good as I think it all will together in my red 951.... I will deff take pics!!!

Worst yet there are linen script seats!

I'd imagine they're made of polyester? What holds up to auto use?

oh man, well then.... im glad i posted a pic too or everyone would have been like "WHAT?" haha

the guy said the seats(front and rear) and the door panels have the black script material and im also getting all the carpet pieces and a dash(no cracks) all black.... it should be nice when im done!!!

Funny thing happened the other day. I was just checking ebay and couldn't believe what came up for sale. Snapped them up right away. I didn't want to modify my factory seats incase something were to happen and who knows where I'd find another set with cloth. But now, sport seat conversion here I come.
