Adrial,
Do not get those from Racers Group. I ordered those hats for my Bilstein cup coilovers ... and they are too thick. I ordered the Racers Group hats and camber plates ... and the hats are so thick that the nut will not thread down far enough on the male portion of the strut. Racers Group said they were going to machine the hats thinner .. make sure they did before you order them. They charged me a restocking fee .. even after they acknowledged that the part needed to be machined down .. and did in fact NOT fit their own Bilstein coilover kit in house.

OK after calling around a bit it seems I need to learn some stuff...how exactly does it all go together???
I have a bilstein coilover in my hands...that will work with a 2.25" ID spring...
What do I need to install this on my 944?
Looking at this pic: <a href="http://64.226.197.185/Paragon/Tech/Tech_images/944_strut_003.jpg" target="_blank">http://64.226.197.185/Paragon/Tech/Tech_images/944_strut_003.jpg</a>
It looks like I need an upper spring perch...but does that upper spring perch need to be designed for a certain camber plate or what?
P.S.
Ground control couldn't really help me, they said they dont really deal with Bilstein. Lindsey sells the upper spring perch included with their camber plate only. I haven't contact TRG yet, I need to know what I'm talking about first I think...

Can you take a picture of what you have now?
The strut you have is either set up for a stock sized spring or a 2.5" spring. When we know exactly what you have (easy to tell with pics) then we can provide better help.

The strust I Have is setup for a 2.25" ID spring...all that it consists of is the shock itself, and the height adjustment...nothing else.
I dont have a digital camera handy, sorry, my brother has it.

I found a pic I posted before...
<img src="http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~adrialk/bilsteinyellow.jpg" alt=" - " />
I have something that looks like the yellow shock on the left, except that the threaded height adjustment is on the shock...
The only difference that there seems to be is that the upper piece of my threaded height adjustment (What is it really called??) is only 1/2" in height at most...while the one in the pic looks significantly taller??
TIA,
Adrial
EDIT:
Here is what my adjustable collar looks like(the lower spring perch really): <img src="http://www.lindseyracing.com/pics/343009k1.jpg" alt=" - " />

i think I just installed these.(are you talking about the ak1120 and 1121)? If so check out lindsey racing. You will need camber plates, spring hats, and a couple of other things. They have the complete kit at lindsey racing. check em out.

dagame27, I am considering that as an option, but if I'd like to know how much it'll cost to do it without doing camber plates...just the upper spring perch and anything else I need to get it to work.
They're labeled as "MSP-05816R"...does anybody know what that is?
