Default Just realized NASA had a photographer at the track

I did my first NASA event the day before halloween....I was just on the NASA NE site when I realized there was a photographer at the event.

Thought I'd share a few pics....

Very nice indeed, is that a molded front end cover?

Thanks guys !

Matt...it was a one day event for me....1st run of the day (which I think is in these pics) was my best.

After that I spent too much time looking in the mirror and not enough time focusing on driving....I am working on teaching myself to ignore the mirror until I am in a passing zone!

Hope all's well in NH ! How's the leg?

John....YES...that is a lexan form-fitted bra.

Only the 2nd one I've ever seen....I lucked into it via a pelican guy at Hershey a few years ago....it's great !

best to all for the New Year !!!!!!!!!

Cool pics. Looks like the start of another one bitten by the bug.

How is that Lexan bra fitted? Looks like a bunch of bolts or fasteners...which sort of defeats the purpose of keeping the front paint all nice doesn't it? Interesting piece all the same.

Very cool I love seeing people using 944's on the track.

Nice car too. The '91 S2 coupe is my favorite 944.

No...actually those rivits are holding soft rubbr stand-offs on the back side of the lexan.

The bra is actually held in place by 5 small bungee cords with hooks. It's great...does not move...but easy to take off/on if I want to.

I've been doing light track duty for the last 3 years....this past season (those pics) was unfortunately my one and only event due to work and family constraints....but I am already lining up the PCA/NASA schedules to plan for next season !
