i like how some people are all upset at the cost of the 996, saying "sell it and hire another cop" etc when they dont realize that you couldn't even trade that 996 in for the price of a new crown vic..

Porsche 968 club sport 1995 metropolitan (London) police. In the mid 1990s the met experimented with a number of high performance cars as traffic enforcement units this rare 968CS was used for about 18 months before being decommissioned.I actually saw this car while driving into London near Heathrow as I recall he had pulled over a BMW of some sort. |
"Thats just like Hoover. Take a person's belongings and throw it in their face! Maybe the owner of the Porsche purchased the car with his viable income and decided to have a coke party! Does not mean he was a dealer. You guys need to lay off and live a little. I wonder was the driver pulled over for driving while a minority!" "Just decided to have a 'coke party' with nearly 30 POUNDS of blow?....well alrighty then!" |
Honestly, I would be so Happy to get pulled over by a Porsche!! Rock On Hoover, Alabama!
|
Funny thing is that I live in Hoover
Since I first posted the other thread, I have seen the car in action. Two cops showed up at one of our Alabama PCA DE's at little talladega in that car. It was funny as hell when they turned on the lights and took a few hot laps. |
