Specs on fuel sending unit?

I cleaned my sending unit while I was replacing my fuel pump since I had the 3/4 reading when the tank was full. I forgot to test things before I cleaned it but I did test after I cleaned it. I got a reading of 2.6ohms when I turned it upside down like the tank was full. The gauge shows about 7/8 now when I tested it by turning the sending unit upside down. Does it tell you in the shop manuals what readings you should get?

I thought I would post a pic of what I used to remove the sending unit since when I searched there was talk of a special tool.
