Default Track Car

Bear with me, I am new to this forum business.
I have an 89 S2 that I am converting to a track car. I would like to eliminated the Air Conditioning. Does someone sell a compressor plate/pulley assembly to take the place of the compressor or is there a different belt to install? Can I get rid off the ac heat exchanger it the front?
Also, possibly the power steering. Has anyone ever removed the power steering? Do you use a different rack or just take the belt off to the ps pump. Is it to difficult to drive?
Thanks
Rod

For the a/c bracket, here's what I'm planning:

I run a 924S

We made an AC delete bracket -- drops the alternator to the AC location
We bought a belt at an autostore -- too a few tries to get it right

We run without the power steering -- other than some effort in the paddock
it is no problem at all.

Love driving it -- very forgiving car and confidence building.

I went w/o power steering for a few seasons and went back to it. I truly believe you get easier and more precise steering input w/o losing power.

I have the Lindsey Racing A/C delete on my S2 race car. Strong, light weight, also looks good.
