Bilstein hds are somewhere between the med and firm setting on the koni.
I agree it's best to keep things matching but koni struts with the bilsteins in the rear would be just fine. I know of a few cars running this setup.
My opinion is if this were a track car it would be worth spending the extra money on the konis all around.
I have the konis front and rear but wish I would have just went with something better First time around. I don't care for the dampening with the spring rates I have. The car still handles great on the track though.

yep agree. It's a pain to adjust rear Konis, so the Bilsteins are a good option. One disadvantage is the higher gas pressure in the Bilsteins does jack up the rear of the car slightly so you would probably want/need to consider reindexing the torsions.

+1 on Bilsteins HD's for the rear.
I only wish I would have done that the first time, instead of wasting money on new Koni's. Koni **** has gone straight downhill in the last 5 years or so, IMO.
