Here is an announcement that will appear as "Deja-Vu" to many Rennlisters - certainly given Rennlist Racings affiliation with Lynn Wilson and Adam Merzon over the past several years… Well - Adam and Lynn are "back at it" again this weekend..!!

Case-It Racing will be competing this weekend in the Grand Am Cup with their Porsche GT3. Case-It Racing, with co-drivers Lynn and Adam, typically compete in the Rolex Series, but this weekend finds them at Mosport International Raceway in this Grand Am event. Case-It Racing is sponsored in this event by Dawe Motorsports Development, Case-It, Carnewal.com, and Rennlist.com.

Of note, one of the primary Sponsors for the Case-It Porsche GT3 for this event is Carnewal.com (http://www.carnewal.com)- the same Gert Carnewal who is Rennlist Member and site sponsor. At a personal level, I am thrilled to be associated with Gert - not only from the Rennlist.com site - but as well, within this event, especially given Rennlist's association with Lynn and Adam spanning as far back as several years.

Today, Case-It Racing is practicing at Mosport today as part of a sanctioned Grand-Am Cup testing day. The first session was uneventful, which is good news - since rotors and pads needed to be bedded. Adam Merzon is driving during today's test sessions today and will be joined by co-driver Lynn Wilson tomorrow.

Test Day Results (mid- afternoon - last year the Grand-Am cup pole was 1:29.1.)

Session 1: Merzon turned a 1:32.2 in the first session this morning;

Session 2: Merzon turned a 1:30.5 during the second session;

Grand Am Cup qualifying commences at 4:35 on Friday afternoon and the three hour race, presented by Sunoco Ultra, will begin on Sunday at 3:00 PM. Rennlist will be updating a special section of the Racing site throughout the testing and qualifying periods - as well as bring you the results of the action and the driver, team and crew comments as the action unfolds - and post a pictures from this event. Additionally, I hope to install a picture Gallery with downloadable Wallpaper during the next day - so stay tuned!
