Default TPS out...options for tomorrow?

Ok...so car stumbles and doesnt want to rev over 1800rpm. If I unplug the TPS, it revs fine. Can I run with it uplugged this weekend on the track? Will I be harming anything? I don't hear the "click" when I rotate the throttle so I'm assuming no adjustment will help, but maybe someone has some advice to the contrary. Thanks for your quick replies. I appreciate it.

I removed the Throttle Body and took the TPS off and cleaned it with lots of brake cleaner and compressed air and the idle switch started working. With out the TPS connected and working the DME does not sense the TPS Idle position and the KLR does not see throttle position.
The procedure for testing the TPS at:

I would not run the car on the track as your mixture will be incorrect.

I was thinking the same thing but was hoping I was off. I will try and clean it though I am running out of time to make my track day. Any other wild ideas?
