Post 83 944 power windows

Does anybody have the schematics for the power window unit on the passenger side of a 83 944? Or could you direct me to a site that would have it? Any help would be appreciated

one thing i'd strongly encourage you to do is carefully take the switch out and clean it. take the drivers side switch (for the passenger side) out and clean that out as well. be especially careful when prying apart that the innards don't go everywhere. then make sure the contacts are identical in both switches. if you need to take out the other drivers side switch and compare... they should all be the same. i fixed the window switch problem in my 84 this way.

good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try it and let you know. I'd rather not buy the switch for $40 right now.

I had the same problem that you have, my passenger side window did not work, what I had to do was swap the switch with the drivers side switch and wherever the switch was it did not function.
