Clear turn signal/red lights update - with pictures
I finally got around to install my clear lenses and also colored the rear turn signals red. The results speak for themselves, I think it really enhances the look and makes the car look more current. My goal was to be able to reverse all changes, so I didn't paint the tail lights, but used red transparent vinyl for the job. It was easier to apply than I thought. Here is a parts list:
Front Turn Signal:
- Clear lens from Klearz.com
- Vacuum Chrome Bulb 1157 - Amber
Side Marker:
- Clear lens with housing from 'Hooked on Cars' - excellent quality!!
- #67NA Natural Amber Miniature Bulb BA15S Base
Red Out Tail Light Kit Vinyl Film Transparent (from eBay)

I guess it's really a question of taste. Lotd of people is doing that change, but I prefer the stock orange look! Bahh, well that's just my taste, and I'm that kind of guy who's tastes change with time.
Good job!

Hey where did you get the amber bulbs from?
I need some for my clears that i just put on
Also, have they caused any problems? My fronts came with amber bulbs and they were the wrong wattage and ended up not making the signals work
