He is not gone from Porsches, just gone from this particular forum ......

I read his posts on another Porsche Forum quite often and have spoken with him on that forum by private message not long ago. He is fanatical...... fanatical with enthusiasm for sports cars and vintage collector cars.

He just doesn't tolerate ANY abuse, nor spend wasted energy on fools

The way he was treated in that post by a certain someone was f*cking embarrassing. I can't believe sh*t like that is tolerated here - when I first joined people were banned for being way less assh*les than that.

Believe it or not, it's still coming. Isn't 15 years on a 951 normal? Photos soon.

One of my 944s has been a bare shell, waiting for paint, for about 3 1/2 years now. I've owned that car for almost 20 years, and in that time it has never turned a wheel under its own power.
My 944 spec car sat at his shop for almost 3 months, all he had to do was paint the roof and two new doors that weren't mounted on the car.

15 years for a total overhaul sounds long, but not overly long. But that's just me.

I have a ~30,000 mile '89 951 that's undergoing a multi (multi) year restomod. My buddies constantly rib me on how long it's taking. It'll be done when it's done (I work too damn much). Oh, cost??? Yeah, I may have a shot at winning the prize. Who cares? All I want is a 944 turbo that 911 owners say "Holy ****". I'm well on my way there...
