http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8388128.stm

Italian police have crashed their most valuable patrol car, a 165,000-euro (£150,000) Lamborghini.

The accident happened near the northern Italian town of Cremona where it was on display at a student jobs fair.

Reports say the car swerved to avoid another vehicle which crossed into its path, ploughing into two stationary cars. It was damaged beyond repair.

One of the two officers in the vehicle at the time of the incident suffered a broken rib, the other received bruises.

The Lamborghini car, painted in the Italian police force's blue and white colours, was a gift to the force from the carmakers in 2004.

The six-speed luxury vehicle with a 500-horsepower engine is designed to go from zero to 100km/h (60mph) in four seconds.

I'm lucky enough to not need glasses. This makes it a little difficult for me to understand what people are going through when they're struggling with vision issues. For example, I've been to movies or ball games with friends when they realize they forgot to bring their glass, but I'm not sure to what extent their watching abilities are hindered. My girlfriend and I were long-distance for awhile, and during an early AM drive to the airport we left in a hurry and she didn't bring her glasses. I didn't think much of it, even after we cut across a few lanes on the highway. She was cutting corners like we were on an Indy car racetrack, but since it was 4am there was almost no traffic and it seemed safe. I thought she was just in a huge rush to get me to the airport. Then we passed a monstrous football stadium that was named after a local fried chicken chain called Bojangles, and she said, "Whoa, look at the size of that Bojangles." The rest of the drive I called out the names of streets, exits, and let her know when we drifted between lanes.

Luckily for me, I wouldn't be able to find my way to the car without glasses...

I wear glasses, but luckily my eyes aren't so bad that I wouldn't be able to survive without them. They're basically for reading and close up stuff (like reading gauges in the car, reading a book, etc.) I also tend to get headaches at the end of a long day if I don't wear them. I also get lots of eyes strain from the laptop if I don't wear them. Ahh... getting older...

I've never told anyone this story, but one time I nearly got caught in bed with a married woman. It was just past 4am. With no time to grab my clothes or car keys, I had to run nearly 3 miles... nekked. I ran mostly through back yards and side streets. But, due to a large football stadium, I had to run about a half mile along a very busy street. I only saw one car that night... right in front of the stadium.

Your girlfriend can see just fine.

The idea of presenting a foreigner to act as his next of kin came into my mind so as to have the total sum of ?7,394,890.00 being transferred and willed to you and we can both disburse the fund according to the percentage we will agree upon.

In view of this, I am seeking for your co-operation and understanding to stand as the next of kin to our deceased customer, to enable us claim the fund from my bank. Hence, if this proposal is OK by you and you do not wish to take undue advantage of my trust. Please kindly get back to me immediately, strictly via my private email address only:{jamesdalejr82@i12.com} to enable me enlighten you on how we are to proceed.

I will appreciate if the details below are confirmed back to me in your next email in order for me to prepare the MOU, MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING that both of us will endorse in other for both parties to be protected.
