Default Clean Front Bumper Mod

It's growing on me. At first I wanted to do a turbo nose swap, until I decided to do something a little different. I Really like the Euro and "Wolf" bumper mods you guys have been doing, but wanted to get rid of the Fugly turnsignals while I was at it.....
The Turbo shocks don't set the cover and trimmed stock front NA bumper close enough so I made my own which are and exact copy of the rear brackets I made for the rear conversion.....

Here's the front with the exact same brackets and 1" trimmed off the driver's and passenger's side NA bumper to clear the fender bracket and horn....

Milled 4130 steel. They are about 2/3 less weght than the Turbo bumper shocks even. I got the front bumper cover from another hybrider.

Default Euro

I have no idea, Just last week I did the front NA bumper mod with these brackets I designed to bring it as close as possible because the other mods I've seen done do not tuck it close enough to give it a clean look. Also the side turnsignal/marker lights have a nasty gap when you remove the rubber bump thingys and there is also an ugly gap between the bumper and fenders after the stock bumper is moved back that far. Also there is actually crash protection since the stock NA bumper is fastened with the brackets.
I posted a pic for somebody here awhile back how far the Turbo shocks stick out.

xschop, that bumper cover looks fantastic. Do you know anything more about it? Does it have a brand name or part number, anywhere?

What will you do for turn signals?

Ernie, yours is the cleanest of all the attempts I've seen. I didn't want the signals and am OCD and wanted no gap between ends of fender and bumper as well. The guy that made these also makes a rear bumper delete that looks like yours although I believe I have the AIR one because I snagged it off dabay and the P.O. ran a forklift up against the right rear fenderwell and I will chop all that out.

Default PODOT

No signals on the bumper I'm Just going to make custom side markers that will go in the fenders. I will machine billet ones with L.E.D. inserts during the spring. I can't speak for the rear bumper, but judging by the quality of this one.....
Guys name is Eric and he does quality work at a good price...http://www.944hybrids.com/index.html

Just PM me if you need a set of these brackets. I can make some more after I'm done with a few other projects that have my CNC tied up ATM.

See what you mean by not wanting the turn signals ,but still think you should install those clear lens in there not only do the look better then the O.E but produce twice the amount of ligth.
