should i drain the oil before taking out my oil pressure relief valve?

i just need to check to see that it moves freely... not sure if draining the oil would really help the amount that will end up all over me

Unfortunately prices on the reservoir have shot through the roof for some reason. One major supplier to the parts houses (paragon, lindsey, etc) is not stocking them currently (and they were much cheaper), and the other major supplier is more expensive, hence the 96 bucks. They aren't making much at the 96 bucks, but it is sucky their site wasn't updated. Point is, no matter where you get them from, you are probably going to pay the higher price at this current point in time.

No need to drain the oil to pull the oprv.

THis is NOT OK......If you paid with a CC then you can dispute the charge, but you will have to prove that the website did state the cheaper price at the time of the order and the CC Company will do the rest....I have disputed several charges over the last 10 yrs and every single one worked out in my favor becuase the Vendor never had their story straight...

I WANT TO KNOW THE VENDOR SO I DONT HAVE TO EVER GET SCREWED BY THEM LIKE YOU JUST DID....

^^^ and he has two emails proving they screwed up. Give them an opportunity to take the difference off your next order. If they refuse then dispute through your CC and let us all know. You say you like them, let them prove the same.
