ok so it looks like i completely forgot 2 bolts on the head. the 2 that go near the coolant passage near the front of the engine... right next to the water neck. I cant seem to find anywhere what size those bolts might be. any ideas?

it's like a M8. one is a super long 60mm or something. other is about same size as the cam tower bolts.

i think youre thinking of the bolts for the water neck. I know one of those is a super long bolt. i had to order that one already. these are the ones that actually bolt the head down to the block around the water passage for the head itself.

im about to go over there to bleed the brakes and clutch. ill probly just try out some bolt sizes to see what i need.

ok i was wrong. they were different lengths. i used a 40mm and a 50mm bolt.

So i started extending a few parts of the wiring harness today... that hasnt been a lot of fun bot it needs to get done sometime...

I had to extend the plug for the fan switch and the plugs that go to the fans themselves... I think the rest will still reach the way the harness is now.

oh and i also ran the wires for the coil up to the battery area which is where it is mounted now.

bad new though... i was going to bleed the brakes, so i took the cap off the rez and noticed a lot of nasty stuff in there... so i tried to pull it off and of course one of the nipple on the bottom of the rez broke off so now i need a new one of those.

oh and i found my dip stick tube that has been missing forever

and now im completely lost on what to do with my headlights... apparently the gt racing buckets/clear covers are total trash and dont fit well at all... so now i dont know what to do.... i kinda just want to weld the lights shut so the header panel is one piece then just run 100w fog lights... or fit some nice bi-xenon audi projectors where the fogs go... i have a set sitting here so why not

!!! stop breaking ****! hehe

why bixenons? basically never use high beams anynway. single xenons are smaller mechanism, prob easier to install

well now it looks like i need a new front valence.... i just pulled mine out of the attic and its all bent and warped and stuff...

i would really like to find a euro bumper.... then a new US front valence... then use the lights int he valence as fogs then retrofit some projectors into the euro bumper as headlights... i think i would get less trouble from the cops that way since they are higher off the ground

yeah i did see that. I like that a lot too... I liked the way damians "winkies" looked when he did that too but his didnt close. and i like the clear covers with soem kind of lights fitted behind them too... but then the bulb or the projector housing is sticking out into the engine bay...

this front end of this car just makes it hard to do anything
