No hate mail please.
When I was buying mine....I didnt even entertain the thought of a GR 944. It was just too stereotypical. My color isnt "rare" but not common either. I actually ****ed up as there was a glacier blue 951 locally but had a dent. If I could go back in time...I would have bought it and just fixed it. That said...I like Maraschino better than my Garnet Red. I also like the metallic brown w/beige interior. I'm not sure I have ever seen a brown 951. There was a dark green one for sale a few weeks back...found it interesting.

I would love to find out how many were made of each color...some I have never seen.

This is my favorite 944 color...

Looks like it would be a lot of work, but I think you should go for it. I think it would be awesome!

Good luck,

There is a guy in Hagerstown, MD who has an 84 shell that he is selling body panels off of. He was originally trying to sell the shell whole, but is now trying to sell individual body panels off of it. Here is the link to the craigslist ad:

God that Pasadena yellow ...is considered a yellow? Haha, that looks more like orange to me. Either way it would not be a favorite of mine lol.

And the summer yellow, interesting shade choice, i would think Porsche would want to make it pop more, and like Black said, its almost like a color for a Oldsmobile or old 50s cruiser.

This early 944 is the only Pasadena yellow car in this entire 2 page post, it was available for 2 years only! Those almond cars are totally different and that bright summer yellow was available from '87 on!
