Default F/S LED replacement for Instrument Cluster illumination

I have a bunch of LEDs that are drop in replacement bulbs for the 944/951 instrument cluster. Just remove the old ones and insert the new ones (the nly thing you will need to do is play with polarity as I am not sure that they are all non-polarized)
  • 3 Amber with 5 LEDs -$6 shipped in North America
  • 3 White with 5 LEDS - $6 shipped in North America
  • 2 packages of 3 Red single LEDs - $3 ea. package shipped in North America
I am currently using the 5 LED configuration in Red for my car (See picture below for an example). They offer a more diffuse light than the single LEDs, but people have different preference so many also use the single LEDs as well.

Please PM me.

Thanks

I'll take a set of the amber 5-LEDs. How do you prefer payment?

How many do you need to do the whole cluster? My lighting is horrible and I need to put in an odometer gear soon anyways.

I remember someone a while back on these boards had developed some complex led light upgrade that was a lot more involved. So these really just drop in huh?

Both 5 LED sets sold.

Joe, you need 3 - one to replace each of the bulbs. yes they are drop in. Remove the old bulbs from the holders and put these ones in. If they do not work, reverse the bulb orientation in the holder (as the LED is polarized).

these won't help your lighting if the light guides have lost their reflective layering.
your options are to "re-silver" the guides or buy a complete LED kit from Garage 9

Snap, I want some of these. A glow sticker can provide better light on my gauges than my lights do now.

Does anyone know if these are the 74-x, 74-xHP SMD, or 74-xHP3 SMD LEDs? On a 944 S2
