Default little bit of an update

put the engine in so that i could tow the car to my new place tonight. It'll be coming back out to paint the engine bay. but gives you an idea :-)

oh and dont worry i have a nice new shiny ac delete bracket to replace that huge ugly hunk of metal you see bolted to the side of my engine. i just put that there to lift the engine.

and my LR A/C delete bracket is the shiniest thing in my engine bay =/

Looks great, good luck with your project!

BTW, when you install the water pump make sure that the locking ring for thermostat can be installed from the top (i.e. position the gap downwards...)

thanks, the engine will be back out when i put the water pump and timing stuff back on.

much easier that way.

I believe he's saying that because later on when the engine is in the car, if you install the snap ring with the gap on top you'll be unable to get it out.

I like how it looks like there is a ton of room in the engine bay when it is just a long block but when everything is put on the motor, the bay is full

just painting the bay right now. gonna worry about the rest of it later... once the car is drivable.

and yeah the bay fills up quickly. my goal is to put as little as possible back into the bay. im only putting back things that are necessary to make the car drive. no cruise control, no AC, no power steering, no coolant res, no evap stuff. and to top it off im going to hide as much of the wiring harness as i can
