Post DME Relay
This is kinda like DerSchlechtSpecht's post but not quite so. Is the relay offered by paragon, P# 993.615.227.00 the same as the original P# 944.615.227.00. I know the P# is almost exact but the diagram that appears on each of them differs a bit.

Yes, not the same but a direct replacement - the 993 part # is the correct one - 944# was superseded.
