I DROVE IN HAIL... AGAIN!!!

lol, No biggie. I think I came out lucky once more though. No evidence of dents! Hopefully, full paint-work is in order tomorrow or Monday! (preps the polisher)

Got this wrapped up and test fit... works like a charm except the POS AFM I used.. I need a WB O2... and to install the battery gauge from my original cluster into this... the one shown is adjusted to it's limit and still reads 1.5 volts high or so... all others are working great... LOVE the boost gauge, and I love it NOT being in a pillar pod...

I charged the dead battery on the 951 and put the cover back on it until I recharge it next time.

I parted out a 944S, then did a timing belt/tensioner/waterpump/clutch job on the S motor. Pulled my 8V motor from my car, reloaded the parts car on the trailer, dropped a transmission, replaced a gas tank, and just finished welding two new control arms so they are "boxed". Tomorrow I do machine work, more engine work, body work, and re-assembly.

I welded a plate of steel to mend the gaping square hole in the frame rail, where the sway bar bracket used to bolt to. I welded nuts to the back of the plate first!

I painted one centercap with graphite metallic wheel paint to see if I like the color enough to paint the phone dials with it.....still undecided. Might go with white again.

I also sat in the car for a while, trying to decide where to mount the ApexI AVCR and Zeitronix WB displays. I like to have everything factory looking and hate having that crap stuck in odd places. One might not be too big of a deal, but having two needlessly bulky dislpays to deal with is a real pain.
Anyone ever mount anything like that over the rear veiw mirror?

I pulled the seats out of mine preparatory to cleaning the carpet, installing an access panel on the trans tunnel for the VR6 starter, and installing sound deadener. I hugged it too, lol...it's scared about going into surgery.

I want to replace the front struts today but I don't know if I'll get to it or not.
