My 944s stored first start in 6 years

inspected cam and balance belt ok
replaced power steering and alternator belt
Replaced air filter
replaced spark plugs with correct gap
Drained all fuel (qtr tank)
Replaced fuel filter
clean fuel strainer
new fuel with Wynns Gold petrol cleaner/treatment

Would have started first time if i let it turn a couple more times

one issue i found was incorrect fitment of fuel filter hence a quick run round and turn off.

Took for MOT - failed on pads and discs all round due to perished pads and pitted discs - not bad at all for a 31+ year old car
happy as Larry

Installed a new OEM throttle body intake hose. The 34 year old rubber was getting a bit stiff.

Took the S2 out for the first time since November. This is the tower overlooking the Antietam Battlefield's Bloody Lane. Drove home via The Harper's Ferry Road. Always a somber drive here in the heart of Civil War country. Needless to say Metal Detecting is a popular hobby here and I spend a lot of time detecting with my brother.

I washed and waxed the 944 today.

I got a late start so I didn't do the interior but I'm posting a picture anyway because this is what "I haven't cleaned the inside of my car in six months" looks like.

Installed Lloyd mats a week ago.
710 brown, I like how it matches the interior. Fit and finish is top notch!

If only shipping + customs wasn't an extra 50%!

Not today, but in last few days...
- Swapped out Momo steering wheel button for Porsche crest one
- Finally finished install of Vitesse VMAF+, modified wastegate, injectors and Innovate SCG-1, Now just have to tweak the settings for the EBC.. UGH

Installed new OEM style hood foam. And while installing the foam I also installed a new AC, Coolant, and Voltage decals along with a new oil filler cap. It's the small details that add up.

One of the items seems always missing on these cars and mine too.

Took it to its first Milwaukee region SCCA autocross on the go kart track at Road America. I'm running all season tires (they're brand new at least) but I was very slow compared to a lot of the other cars. No matter - I was there to have some fun, and I had a blast! The course was a lot of fun and pretty challenging, because not only did it have tight turns to navigate but the track has changes in elevation as well.

Did a quick clean up of my wheel wells, calipers and rims. Also put in a new BOV and lug nuts.
