yesterday...
whipped up a bracket to relocate my oil cooler...previously had been in front of the rad stack.
found some neat "wiper motor bushings" (yellow zinc things are the special washers inside the rubber) at Oreilly to give it some isolation.
may add some more bracing today.
none of my front-end structure is original so fabbing is easy...

Three Wheelin'
Made a Fender bottom for the racecar... This is why I got a Turbo-S so cheap, and I couldn't cut up a nice one anyway to turn into a racecar!

Brought my 1983 944 back home from the cottage after 15+ years of non-use. Hoping to get all of the PMs done this weekend and possibly back on the road next week.

I think that is only in a vacuum though. Honestly, the belts on it now are a full 26 years old. I put them in when I rebuilt the engine in 1991. There was no Internet then so I am sure I had no knowledge of the recommended change interval.

Realised that fuel leaks at the end of the fuel rail. I probably have a crack that is invisible. :/
Looking at this pic though, I'm thinking maybe the rear hard line is also attached by a fitting which could come loose. What do you guys think?

Installed a dinky little washer fluid reservoir to allow room for an LED headlight upgrade, then got the headlights roughly aimed and went for a drive.
LED is a nice improvement over halogen, that's for sure!
