I figured out how my gauges will be set for the new dash. I still need turn them so they look good. But, with this way I don't have to worry about the speedometer cable, or the rpm gauge.

Wow....that looks like it will work. Do you have enough clearance in the back? I don't know how deep the early gauges are.

replaced the cheapo 1.6 rockers i installed in the chevy heads with the stock 1.5 stamped steel ones...marked improvement in sound and idle...never buying anything from proform again, they're cheap crap!

going to be buying a little body putty to smooth out some of the welds on the hood...will post pics of it up soon!

Oh yea there is way more than enough clearance in the back. The early gauges are pretty deep, but with them stripped down to just the gauge (removed the giant containers they were in) they fit perfectly. I just need to make a bracket for them to stay.

Found I had replaced a turn signal bulb with the wrong bulb, and it fixed my lighting issue!

Solved my rich running problem on the 951 this morning - Bad AFM flapper and return spring pressure. I love the car again and take back all those bad names I've called it over the last 3 weeks.

Today I fixed the low hanging hxhaust and it now sits as factory, plus had a new hanger welded on to relieve some of the stress on the new system. only cost 2 cases of pop ($10.01)

I put the turbo and radiator back in and painted the ApexI AVCR black. Now I have to figure out what to do about the big blue display.
Next is to figure out where to mount all the under hood AVCR stuff and run the associated wires and tubing.
If it stays under 90deg in the garage, I might be able fire it up by the end of the week! Not bad for my "winter" projects.

Steve... how did you go about fixing that? Did you just get another AFM? Or do you know how to adjust the return spring pressure?
