Also you might want to reinforce the welds on the O2 sensor bung, which have completely blown out before too.
Mine cracked as well.

Looking very nice Henk. Can't wait to hear and see your new beasty in full flight!
How did the new body work out? Looks very neat as usual.

I also have the Stahl headers from Racers Edge and also a complete exhaust they did for me. The join is just a slip over section with a couple of pins welded to the headers and exhaust section which pull together with springs. Haven't had any issues in a couple of years of use. No cracks anywhere and I use solid gearbox and semi solid engine mounts.

I'm solid too on box and engine, my exhaust had the flex in it so reused it on the stahl header, which btw is designed by michael mount, who will start building my 400hp NA engine next week

Modifying the front of the car, since I wasn't satisfied with wheel/tyre clearance on that side. So modifying fenders and redoing front bumper. Should be finished next week. Putting in the Lindsey drive shafts, lindsey billet radiator and 3X oil cooler. Changing supercharger pulley from 90 to 85mm and then go for testing slicks with our friends from Michelin toward the end of the month..... meanwhile Michael Mount has started work on the NA engine which I plan to describe in a separate tread. New Advan wheels should be here also this week.

Just to get you some idea, here's a vid of recent sprint race, gives a good idea of the effect of the supercharger and the close ratio albins gears if you compare with older vids on same track.

A bit more info, today the motons went in/on/under the car. front spring rates 120 main and 20 helper and rear 160 main and 30 helper. Canister pressure for now at 150 psi front and 180 psi rear. Corner weighted and re-aligned since the set came with ground control plates and top mount allowing for a lot of caster.
Pictures to follow, but man it is nice stuff.

Nice going Henk. Your car is pretty rapid in this clip. You were closing on those guys too. Pity you didn't have a couple more laps to see what might happen?

We decided to chicken out and go for the 2 ways. Might regret it in the future but just don't feel like I have the time to sort out 3 ways. I'll be interested to hear what your experiences are with these. They are well made though.

Henk,

Did you ever confirm how much boost you are getting?

Is everything still going OK on the SC engine?

eric, i can read the map on display (adl) and we've got 150kpa from 4800 onward so 0.5 bar boost, got smaller pulleys laying ready to go on BUT I'm maxing out sc rpm's when engine runs 7300 rpm so I will get more shove but need to lower rpm limit to use those.

still going well, no issues whatsoever, she runs a bit warm when racing (105c) but what do you want with 36c ambient. Intake temps when racing are 60c, 24 over ambient. Did 24 lap race yesterday without a hick against some NZ V8's and cup cars etc. Good fun. heres a video of how sweet she runs.

Did the first supercar race last week, different game all together. Slippery slope seems endless.

Very cool, looks like some serious race cars out there!
Were you all competing in the same class?
How is the regulations, power to weight ratio limitations?
