Bonnet painted, needs some more adjustment, but it will do for now. Put in new fuel rail and FPR. Now waiting for TPS and then on the dyno to re-tune the motec.

Sorry Henk, I missed you here.

Car is looking great. I see you have 4 hood latches. Can you show me where they attach to underhood?

Try this link to this site. Steve has a bunch of D9 parts and he's also got a supercharged 968 motor in his 951.

Henk, the car is looking good. That's fairly impressive RWHP figures.

What have you done to the engine besides the D9 MAF? I may have missed an earlier post, but what type of standalone Motronic system are you using? Does it still use the knock sensors?

Is the FPR required to get more fuel into the engine, because the injectors are maxed out? I would have though with an NA car that tuning the ECU would give you enough adjustment.

Henk, incredible build. Really like going black with the hood vents, sets the car off!

Ah, the maf is still in but no longer connected, switched to using MAP, which works fine, but we're adding the tps to make the car react a bit better. Using a Motec M4 stand alone and currently not using knock sensing, but we'll have to sort that when the supercharger goes in.

We put other(bigger55lb/hr) injectors already (Lindsey) because we found that the originals were maxed out and cycling over 90%. So we put the new ones and when tuning the car on the dyno, the tuner thought there would be more to have at higher pressure, so, here we are. We'll know next week.

For the rest nothing done on the engine yet, not even opened up, only painted the valve cover.

All set, been on the dyno to adjust the motec for the TPS, I arrived too late to witness, but we have the same hp (as expected), been driving the car back over the streets in bangkok and she seems to pick up and react better, or maybe its my imagination after spending the money, hehe.
Patrick, attached pics of my bonnet support as you asked.

I know I haven't posted here before, but I just thought I'd let you know. This project inspired me to start work on my 944, which I had previously neglected for my motorcycle.

Thanks Henk. Nice clean solution. Did you get your hood locally made up?

Thats cool, its amazing what reactions it gets, S2's are getting scarce in TH now beacuse there's at least four people looking to build a car based on this one....

But its great isn't it how these 20 years and older machines can make out hearts beat.

I've been trying out the Vbox video stuff with Circuit tools software, great stuff. Put a part of the video on YouTube. The YouTube quality doesn't compare to the real quality but alas....
