Resurrecting this thread as I'm having a really tough time finding a radio delete block-off plate.

Anyone have a spare laying around that wants to sell?

Thanks!

I have a factory 'delete special' - 944, ordered new that way from Porsche by the first owner who was a PCA Driving Instructor out of Chicago.

Sunroof delete, gas cap lock, cigar lighter, stereo, rear wiper, rear hatch cover, console, all deleted on the build out. With manual mirrors, sport suspension, raised hub Sport Steering wheel.

It came with a factory, 'deep spoiler' and some other trick stuff.....

In regards to the stereo delete cover, my car came with a binnacle as noted by #7 in the PET photo. NO cover was ever installed over that binnacle in my car. It is merely another open space to put driving gloves, etc. into for storage.

I have seen the binnacles for sale on ebay and have even knowledge of one fellow about 5 years ago ordering one from the parts dept. at Porsche. I don't know if they are currently available or not.

Never have seen that cover in the photo that appears to attach outside the opening. Every sunroof and stereo delete car I have come across ( mostly CUP cars or M030 variants ) had the exact same binnacle which was left open. They were also all black interior cars. Mine is dark brown ( series one )

Sounds amazing. Can I just buy your car!?

I didn't realize I could fit an additional DIN cubby in the top section. Would this same part slide right in once the stereo bracket is removed?

Also - would you mind posting a couple pics of your car? The manual mirrors, rear hatch etc. I bet your dash is clean!
