Default Any Better Power Steering Pump for our cars?

I Recently had a PS pump Fail, I took at look at the Guts and the Clip that holds the shaft in Failed, The pulley actually walked out and rubbed on the lower PS hose. I Know I could just de-power the Rack but I dont want to do that.. What I would like is a Racing alternative to what is there.. Eventually I will find one but just wanted to know if anyone had any BTDT Alternatives? And the Clip doesnt appear to come in a re-build kit and it also kinda Chewed up the splines on the shaft.. So I took the pump, splines and everything and tossed it.. Put one of my spares on, but how long with THAT last? I also Checked alignment.. This is just one of those failures that happens to a 30 year old part. Someone else posted they had a similar Failure recently. Oh well, what can we expect? My car is like 210 years old in Dog years.....

Mineral based Dex IID can be had at napa and FPCeuro has it the cheapest. Most of my cars take a similar LUK pump and seem to like that fluid over synthetics.

Run the OEM lower hose, the aftermarket ones tend to run closer to the PS pulley. i changed out 4 of them in 2 cars before i figured that out. The OEM hose has plenty of clearance.

As for the pump.. Just find another one thats not lunched.

I too discovered a few years ago that hoses are not all created equal.
