Welcome!

Got any pictures of your car? I've always been intrigued by the yellow 944's.

You haven't replaced them with the improved VW part? I'll save you a search; LINK to website listing part numbers for each color

Welcome

but take/post more pics when you get the chance (it took me a year before I posted my first pics but I'm pretty much a slacker)

edit: the other thing you have to do is post your option codes
Under the hatch glass, on inside of the car, the vertical wall, between the tail lights, pull back the carpet from the snaps. there's a sticker that shows the options your car shipped with originally

If you don't have an owner's manual, let me know

Default Option sticker location

Hi folks,

Is this location for the sticker listing options true of all 944s? I am looking into a 1988 model and trying to tell the owner where to look for the sticker with the option codes. When you say to pull back the carpet, is it easy to do and does it go back together easily? I don't want to tell him to rip up carpet for access and then have it not go back together or have to get adhesive.

Thanks in advance!!

It's true, and it's very easy.

Just 5 snaps at the top edge of the carpet. Removes and "reinstalls" very easily.
