Who wants manual sunroof latches?
I'm going to pick up an '82 931 parts car this Saturday, and it has a manual sunroof. So, who wants to upgrade their balky, inoperative power sunroof to the simplicity of manual operation with these fine German-crafted beauties.
Do you own a Phillips head screwdriver? Yes? Then you can install these jewels in about 10 minutes and impress your friends with your latest ultra-high-performance weight saving modification!
These latches can be yours for two easy payments of $40, plus shipping......
But, wait!! If you respond to this ad in the next 10 years, we'll make your first payment for you! That means only ONE payment of $40, plus shipping.
Act now, operators are standing by!!

Yep, this is all you need. Here's a how-to for the install.

When I installed mine, I didn't even remove the headliner like the site says. Both my gears were stripped, so I just pulled the arms out and let the latches hook where the arms came from. And the site says you lose the tilt, but that's not true. You can still tilt the roof forward by turning the latch handles around and propping them in the drainage track.

I pulled +/- 9 lbs of motor, track arm, cables and guide tubes from 86. I've done 3 cars so far and have never regretted it yet. I even found a manual Saratoga top to swap in and out as needed. I wish the Saratoga top tilted though like the manual.

That's all at the very top of the car too. Not that bad for 40 bucks. Anyone else have some manual latches?

I would be in for a set if someone has a nice pair laying around.
