Check the crank bolt?

I don't have a drain plug. I have installed a drain valve. I checked the oil on the dipstick and it is just dark brown colour. oil is a couple months old not too many miles and mobil 1 15w50. oil on dipstick looked okay. I'll drain it later today.

well should I go start it up again lol. I don't think I should run it at all with it showing zero oil pressure.

I think it was running for 5 minutes with zero oil pressure. I didn't notice and just let it run to warm up like usual. I let it warm up for 5 minutes everday in the garage while I get my things ready.

If you really have no oil pressure the hydraulic lifters would be making a very noticeable clacking. You say it sounds a little different? It would sound a lot different IMHO. Maybe you can record a file to post for us to listen to...

Yes the lifters are making noise that is why it sound different. It starts up easily and idles smoothly but no oil pressure at all and lifters making noise.

what should I do now?

I'm busy with school so I don't really have time to part the car..... it would take way too much time.

plus how much money can I get for parts?

I have fuchs with fairly new tires. rennbay fuel lines, new wires, sport seats. brand new clutch kit installed about a month ago.....

man this is so depressing

please read my actual responses. I did mention that I did check the crank bolt with a torque wrench and it is tight.

why would you say that? the drain valves are perfectly fine. you only lose the magned on the drain plug.

You need to put on a mechanical guage and make sure you are getting a proper reading.

I put in a new sender and 3 months later it took a **** on me for about a week and now works great again. as long as you are not getting the warning light i think you are getting a false reading. +1 on the mechanical gauge, or try getting a new electric sender, whatever is cheaper
