Mine is a 944 NA, not 951, and I am sure I will be below 2K, I guess that will make me the lightest once the car is finished.

Please do!.
I still have yet to do a cage. So add another 100lbs to that weight. I still have a fiberglass roof to put on. I'm not going to go as far as a whole fiberglass rear clip though.

Fiberglass rear bumper, hood, and lexan rear hatch.

Yeah, I'm not going to do the rear qtr panels until I have to.

Oh, and my cage is already in the car and included in the weight. This is my old PCA stock class car that I am building up. It's just an AutoPower cheapy bolt in, but it's already done and there so no real reason to redo it.

But my race car is a pig.
was reading through this thread and found this amusing...

my car has all glass, all steel body, full interior minus the rear seatback (but speakers added), has tools, has spare tire, has AC, and with a half tank of gas was 2730...

anyways, anyone know how much the door windows weigh? i found some inexpensive lexan sheet locally and might make a copy. will be making a FG hood sometime soon, and eventually getting a plastic hatch (buying or making one), goal is under 2600lbs with full interior/ac

Kind of an old thread, but I'll add mine. 1986 N/A with GTS headlights, most of the interior, minus the rear seat back, no spare, no rear wiper, no sunroof motor. 924 manual seats on 944 rails. Still has A/C and power windows, but no stereo or speakers. Half tank of gas and it's at 2591 lbs.
