Default One of two 944's for sale

Well the good news bad news has hit on my 39th Birthday today...

Good, well unbelievable, my wife , the one who never gets me anything on birthdays, anniversaries etc... yeah that one, you know the one you search the universe for the perfect gift for, well she has redeemed herself in a BIG way.. She and my car broker came up with a 1992 America Roadster for me today, it is on the way, and this was one I always look for, I am just stunned.

Bad, there is always a bad, I have no space for it, so something has to go, so here we are.

Choice of so first one that sells is it.

1987 Summer Yellow 944, in BEYOND PERFECT CONDITION, cosmetically and mechanically someone will STEAL this so read on

I am a fanatic, so I just put thousand in mechanics in this car

Belts, Waterpump, clutch, torque tube, Sachs shocks, bearings on a four corners, rotors(brand new), pads.....You all know what it cost at 110.00 an hour.

The car has no stone chips at all, front valance and hood was painted for it to be perfect. No BBS's, but at the right price we will talk... Phone Dials with newer Pirelli's will come with it, Manual trans off course, dash and the full script cloth seats are perfect... 49.9k miles...

Asking 11,500, yes 11,500, there is over 16k in this car to make it the BEST available, no issues, no bills, just get in it and go, smooth as ice, I have all reciepts...

1989 944 S2, Time Capsule, 19.9k miles, Red on Black, not a scratch, clear bra on the front and mirrors, new pirellis, service done, belts adjusted, built in radar...no wear on the seats at all...I just got this and haven't had time to even get the tags, but it is what it is....

Price 19.5k... check around this is a 19k mile car... best out there...

http://www.spencerhaynes.com-a.googl....com/1989944s2

So IM me with interest or more info make an offer on either if you wish, but these are not project cars, the are the mack.....

Thanks guys , I will put these in the classified shortly , and no ebay for a bit.. I would think it only proper to have a Rennlister in this forum get one...

IM or email away shaynes@johnrwood.com

Good luck with the sale, congrats on the new car, and amazing collection. Just my opinion but I think I'd keep that summer yellow and try to sell the S2. That's a fantastic color.

Roadster made it back from VT great, pics soon, and the Summer Yellow car has been sold to a Rennlister, he picks it up on Weds of next week. So I am spending the weekend detailing to make sure it is perfect for him... It is in amazing condition cosmetically and mechanically, so his 600 mile ride home should be a sweet one... I will try and snap some pics of him taking the keys on Thurs morn...

So the Red s2 is officially off the market.

Ive done my unscientific research, and am now a self proclaimed expert on the vaue of 944s and 968s. I concluded that about 30,000 miles and i stress the about when i say 30,000 miles is around where the cutoff of collectible hits. From 30k on each mile is an expensive mile until about 50K when it is no longer collectible, just a low mileage example.

with 20K miles your S2 there is a premium attached to the car that takes all pricing models and throws em out.

But for those upset that the red S2 is off the market, there is hope. Mine may be on the market in a few days. Just have to work out some details.

Happy birthday!

Well , is it better to say my close friend Michael Willhoit, who I have done tons of business with... I just find when a dealer is mentioned by name it sparks this back and forth and crap, so I went with the non descript, my broker.. and I for the most part I find my own stuff.
