Default FS: 944 Engine (long block) (core)

Selling the engine out of my 944. This has been sitting on the floor of my garage for 2 years after it suffered a spun #2 bearing. I would consider it a decent core engine. The leakdown at the time of PPI was something like 99 all around. (I no longer have that paperwork). It has about 172K and one (fateful) DE.

I took it apart and the bores look good. I just want it out of the garage. If you're interested, please let me know. You'll get all the parts...

If no interest in the whole thing, I might part it out.

It's all from an 86. I have no idea how to price it. if you show up with a truck or a large trunk it can be sufficiently cheaper than if I have to expend effort wrapping it up and taking it to UPS.

I looked on ebay at individual parts and they were all over the map in price. Send me a PM if you want to make an offer...even a wild *** offer. I might bite.

BTW, I did a nice job packaging up all the bolts and screws sorted with the major assembly it came from.

That part of the crank (and the rod) is "scuffed up" and will need to be refinished. I think they grind it down and go with oversized bearings.
