Default 28mm Weltmeister Sway Drop Links?

I in stalled a 28mm Welt. sway bar on my 85.5 944 that I AutoX. The top of each drop link leans in board about 15-20 degrees. It looks like the bar is about 3 inches too narrow. When I turn either direction, even in normal road driving, the loading of the suspension shoves the bar to one side or the other by about 1.5 in. either way. Any body that could offer advice or experience would be greatly appr.

Thank You

I am currently parting out a 85.5 944. Let me know if you need any good condition used parts.
