Default Wanted: 951 Bra (and a question)

What does these run brand new? Anything to look for or stay away from?
And does anyone have one for sale?
Thanks in advance.

Braless. I feel they do as much harm as they do good.

Really why is that?
I will only put it on when i go for a 100+ mile drive to prevent rock chips, it will come off after that.

They are great for trips. Out west the roads are covered with small rocks --- saves your paint.
If it rains take it off and let it and surface dry .

Great idea if used correctly. Porsche sells --- about $125.00
--- aftermarket --- don't fit well - but cheaper.

I recently sold one on ebay that came with my car. I had advertised it on here and everyone laughed at me saying that they wouldn't even pay the shipping if it was free. I ended up selling it on ebay for i think $65 plus $15 for shipping and it was in perfect condition. Yes it was a Porsche braw with crest on it. Only benefit is long road trips to prevent rock chips, unless you want to emphasize that your car is really from the 80s.

Bras are only effective at sub-65 mph speeds. Go over that and they flap and mar your paint. At least that has been my experience.

With an "as new" paint job, I would much prefer an Xpel type solution. YMMV

I have one and would consider selling. It also has a Porsche crest on it.

I bought a very nice condition one for $35. I don't know why everyone hates them. I only use it on long trips and take it off immediately. Used it muliple times already and haven't had one issue.

You must not speed much. Some of us have less than perfect highway manners!

I was going ~70-75. The bra was tight and did not move. I checked it every time I stopped. And no I don't have perfect highway manners either
