How would you describe the power band on your 8-valve NA?

I'm all for getting some wires when I get some spare cash, but the exhaust I've been hesitant of. Both are "legal" for me to get in my class, but I've heard a lot of "the car is ungodly loud now" stories with NA exhaust changes.

I don't find this exhaust to be that loud, although it is a personal taste thing. It was quieter before I uncovered the intake. It's noticeably louder now. Which has me thinking the open intake along with the muffler must be doing something. Why else would it be louder? Now with everything being *exactly the same*, except for the air filter cover, why would it be louder except for there being more air in the engine causing a louder bang in the cylinders. It's not extremely loud but it is louder then when the covers on.

Airbox modding is not legal for me, so I guess it really doesn't matter. I have a K&N, but I never noticed the slightest sound or power difference, even though the old filter had an entirely intact moth on it. You're in Cary; you should come out to Laurinburg on Sunday and let me hear that exhaust! c'mon you know you want to autocross against another 2.7.
