Trailing arm bushing replacement?
I'm about to drop the rear suspension on the 944 and replace the T-bars and bushings. I bought delrin bushings for the inner trailing arm mounts since they were the cheapest available alternative. Monoballs were twice as much. I cannot find a rubber replacement such as OEM style. In fact, the PET doesn't list a separate part number for this. Does anyone know if there's something available...I have been told the Delrin is too harsh for this application and will cause the metal to fail over time. Monoballs are way more than I wanted to spend.

I'm pretty sure Racer's Edge now does sell a delrin insert, and Paragon sells it...

Dayum good price, compared to the $320 or so for the sphericals. I run spherical, but would've done these if they were an option when I bought mine.

Right, that's what I got (waiting to be put on), but someone was telling me that due to the angles, etc, etc, the OEM rubber (which I think is NLA) or monoballs would be better for it. The claim is that the delrin will make the metal brackets/mounts fail. I don't know concerned I should be....I know guys that can weld if the brackets fail but still....

My understanding is that concern was with the other end, the spring plate bushings. Note that there is no generally-available replacement for these in spherical. Bearings were used on some of the factory race cars, but they didn't use torsion bars then...
