Changing fluids before putting car away for winter. Got the drain plug out of bottom of radiator without any problems, but can't find the drain plug on the block. I've searched all over the right side under the exhaust manifolds,but can't seem to find it. I only got about 3/4 gallons from radiator so I know the block is not draining. Can any one direct me to the coolant drain for the block. Car is an 89 NA.
I did take the oil pressure relief out , thinking it was the drain. Lucky I was draining the oil at the same time and did not end up with a mess.

isnt it on the back of the block by the heater valve?

A little hex head bolt below the #4 cylinder. Watch out, you'll make a mess.
