Default 422ci STS Camaro, wanted a piece of my 944!

He asks me if I want to run, and I told him not on the street. He says he knows a place, and after a 10 minute drive we end up at deserted industrial park. I had a little surprise waiting for him:

The experience made all of the time and money building my car worth it!

This brings me to the question; can a 944 N/A be considered a sleeper?? I'm of the opinion that it can, but only to other Porsche owners. What do you say?

is that from one of the GTOs that was in the train wreck?

If yes, Brad, it is 400/400 from the factory! Same as the pre 05 Z06, 05 + Vette.

Thanks guys. It is indeed a GTO motor ('05 LS2). Power brakes, power steering, and GM A/C. I'm not sure what the numbers are yet. For mods it has a custom intake, a 92mm Fast TB (cable operated), ceramic coated headers, 3" catless mid, with a straight thru Magnaflow. The LS1 PCM was tuned by Tony at FAST. Custom install by German Performance.

I *highly* recommend the swap, if you're considering it.

The car is a BEAST!! And the sound!! With the 951 trans, you can punch it at 2500rpm in 2nd gear, and by 3K the back tires are smoking. 100mph roll-ons are borderline scary.

Here's a few more pics as requested:

Last pic is pretty cool! So all together, how much did the swap cost you in the long run?
