Very nice. So what did the camaro guy say? Shouldn't he have known something was up by the sound of your exhaust? Or is that what provoked him?

I'm using a 951 trans/LSD. It works really well and hooks up in 4th and 5th. The other gears, not so well.
Lots of smoke?

Thanks! He was very cool about the whole thing and had a lot of respect for the 944 when it was done. His response was "What gives?? Those don't run like that!!". His turbo and exhaust were so loud, I was wondering if he could even hear my car at all. He spotted me leaving the grocery store parking lot and came up fast like a sport bike. I got on it and didn't allow him to close the gap, getting a little sideways shifting into 3rd. I think that's what provoked him to want to run. Or he may have just been looking for a Porsche kill. Didn't work out for him though

How many lengths? lol. Your 427 and probably -500lbs should be considerable.

The LS2 is a 6 liter all aluminum V8. (400 cubic inch).

The LS1 is a 350 (also all aluminum)
The LS7 is the 427

Hahah... are you a little drunk? What exactly is a "422ci STS Camaro"

The STS is a type of Cadillac, and I don't know of any car that came with a 422 cubic inch motor. I think the 422 is a Lingenfelter stroker motor they sell aftermarket.

Actually, the LS1 is a 346 cube.

STS stands for Squire Turbo Systems. Its a turbo kit that is mounted in the rear of the car in place of the muffler. Its serious.

One liter is 61 cubic inches...

6L x 61 = 366...is there 34CI hiding somewhere in that motor?

Travis, did you have to drop the front crossmember ormod the oilpan to get the thing low enough. Thats the challenge I have with LS1 in the 968. I'm going to build a new cross member and put the mounts on that. I agree with the electric. The money going into the project, let alone the power, requires the best brakes possible.

MB's car is the alpha!!

WOODIE- Spacers under the crossmember and control arms. You want to use the modded F-body oil pan, like Renegade sells. I have some 968 LS pics I'll post for you when I get back from TDY. That's a great driving car!

I think it would be hilarious to park a 944 n/a with a Turbocharged V8 and a Turbo emblem on the back in a lot full of car enthusiasts. Once they gather around and start criticizing your car because it's an n/a with Turbo written across the back, simply start the engine and give it a few revs before you drive off

My car is awaiting an LS conversion as well. Found someone local who has an LS7 sitting around thats in need of a car. Figure once I find the funds to buy everything else the car is going to need to accommodate that beast I'll get to work on it.
