That's a hell of an attractive car, but the only signs it was ever a 931 are the vents in the nose panel and the hood. New wheels wouldn't go amiss, those things are horrible. I wish I was rich

Not bad on the 968... maybe a grand too high but it depends on just how clean and cared for it was.

I personally hate that 924 body kit.

Excuse me but those are absolutely the best wheels in the entire world.

I just searched for the so mentioned articles in excellence, r&t and c&d, but couldn't find any. Must be from back in the day/prior to the online articles.

Whatever the case is, I'd definitely pimp it. It has even more of an 80s power look than the 951 with bbs wheels. Those fender flares alone are awesome - any idea if those are original or an aftermarket kit?

I just sent the guy an email to see if I could get any more info on the car.

That is definitely aftermarket. And it definitely strikes me as more of a 70s look.

Well, whatever era it is, it looks cool. The guy sent me a bunch more pictures. The car doesn't look as good as I was originally thinking...

(will post pics in a second)

I saw that 931 for sale about a month ago. Hmmm, looks like no one made him a realistic offer. I agree with FRporscheman on the 968, its in the sport package territory with price. It has to be a dealership selling the car. Small used car lots tend to have one nice car that the boss drives, which would explain the pics. They also tend to state the obvious. I shall now disect his ad.
Rare 93 968. (not really, the S2 is rarer)
Power steering (naw really?(sarcasm))
Dual front power seats (which, 6way or 8)
Premium sport wheels (omg all wheels on dealer owned cars have this)
Free pre-purchase diagnostic report (bull$hitt, dealers mechanic)
No mention of color.
This car actually could have the sport package, I'm just speculating because of the 17" rims.
Drivers seat has a gash on the left and looks like it's in fair condition.
If anyone is thinking about buying a 968 the seat and lack of vehicle history is good ammo for bonking that price down.

Well, seeing as the seller of the 968 says he can do financing, I would assume its a dealer.

Here are the previously mentioned 931 pics.

Knock off a few k for some fresh paint, then replace the interior with a black one, put on some deep dish phone dials, 4 spoke steering wheel, euro front and rear bumpers. Oh, and get rid of those green dials, blah :P

But after all that, you may as well just have a 944.

That 931 is definitely attractive looking, but it's been for sale for months now with the price steadily dropping. If the price comes around 5k the car would be worth it though.

Also, if you like 924s and 944s you should love the 80's look of the car.

Did all 931's have the green dials? I thought them older gauges only came in yellow and white.
