Default turn signal does not click off by itself.

As stated, My turn signal does not click off by itself once the wheel is turned back to center. Is there any way to fix this?

the little notch on your steering wheel is worn/ has worn down the part that clicks them off...

pop off the wheel, wrap the tab about 4 times with electrical tape, slap it back on, problem solved

Mine doesn't shut off either, I just figured it was because it was an old design...I'll have to check.

no, there is a tab on the steering wheel that moves the little white piece up or down depending which way it has to move to cancel. the tab on the steering wheel is about 1 1/2" square

you're not alone with this problem, I've got it too. I guess I'll be taking the wheel off and doing the elctrical tape fix.... eh, just to be different I'll use duct tape.

I have this problem too. When I turn right it will click off itself, but the left turn signal does not cancel. I tried 3 different stalk assemblies and all of them did this, I think it has something to do with the momo hub. Im going to give the electrical tape thing a try though.

I have the same problem (left broken, right OK), but AFAIK, this car has always had the standard OEM steering wheel.

sometimes people put the hubs on 180* the wrong direction so only one side ever works

check to see that the hub is properly installed.

I did this a couple years ago. Here are some photos if you're interested.

It's funny, I'm with the other three that have their right signal work, but their left signal not turn off. I did the electrical tape thing a year or two ago, and it worked great for a couple months, then back to not working. I'm thinking I didn't use enough, time to pull the wheel again.

Last time I pulled a steering wheel was about 20 years ago, in a 924

but I stil have the 24mm socket, so I'm all set!
