turn signal does not click off by itself.

I know, it's YEARS later, but my 1987 Porsche 944 did the same thing after working on the ignition switch. The turn switch and wiper, etc. assembly was pushed in too far. I pulled it out while rotating it and it now works perfectly.

I'm on the no left reset with a proper right reset cruise. Apparently, this is a pretty darn big cruise ship. Having read the one write up, I think I'll disembark this cruise and join the two beer cruise in hopes of proper left and right steerage. :-)

Just bought refurbished steerngwheel and had same issue. With old wheel it worked. Turns out, if u buy from UK the plastic tab is in the other side, plus the tab was by ~5mm shorter than my old wheel had. Luckily easy swap.

I had the same problem with left reset. Right was ok. I found the yellow little plastic removed from its place and a bit broken from left side. I bought a Poxipol glue, glued it back on the steering column and also used the glue to give it its factory shape. I left the glue to dry and used a knife to give its original shape. I wrote an explanation on youtube video description. If you guys can't manage to fix it, change the steering column with one in which the yellow tab is still good and functioning.
